What are you lofts made from? Our wood is
non-chemically treated, premium-grade (#1) white pine and
we use commercial-grade nuts and bolts to fasten the beds
together. For your safety, we include a guard rail at no additional
charge. We also adhere to Duke
University Loft Regulations. These quality materials,
combined with our solid, dependable design make
our beds safe AND comfortable.
Our Premium
Lofts are built out of these same durable White Pine #1
grade 2x4s and 2x6s, with commercial grade fasteners. We also
sand all of the corners, ends, and edges to give your loft
a more polished look. This is our best selling loft model.
How long does it take to install a loft?
Average build time for LoftsAtDuke.com employees is between
20-30 minutes. For customers who wish to install the loft
themselves, it should take slightly longer, between 40-50
minutes.
What are your payment options and policies?
You can view our payment policies here.
Do you have to pre-pay in full for a loft, or can you
reserve a loft?
We encourage customers to pre-pay
the full amount for their loft at our online store if they
already know which loft package they would like, or customers
can put down a $100 non-refundable
deposit to ensure delivery of their loft during move-in
on August 22nd.
Do you take any form of payment besides PayPal?
Currently we only accept PayPal credit card payments since
PayPal accomodates all major credit card companies. If you
would like to pay by check before you arrive on campus, please
contact us and we'll be happy to work with you to set up payment.
Once we arrive on campus, we only accept cash or checks.
Please make out any checks to "LoftsAtDuke."
