Online Pre-Order Payment Policy

LoftsAtCollege LLC, parent company of LoftsAtDuke.com, only accepts payment for online orders through PayPal™, which in turn accepts all major credit cards. Here are a few things to remember when paying with PayPal™:
  • Make sure to provide a valid, working email address. This is how LoftsAtDuke representatives will initially contact you regarding your order!

  • After your order is placed, be on the look out for an email from our Customer Service Department asking for more information. This email will normally arrive within 48 hours of your order.

On-Campus Payment Policy

We will only be accepting personal checks and cash during on-campus move-in (Freshman Orientation & Upperclass move-in). Please make out checks to "LoftsAtDuke."

Order Receipts & Invoices

LoftsAtDuke.com representatives will provide you with a carbon copy invoice detailing your order and the total charges upon delivery and installation of your loft and/or other items ordered. If customers would like an invoice in PDF format before move-in, please email our billing department at billing@loftsatduke.com. A LoftsAtDuke representative will contact you within 3 business days and forward you the appropriate documents.

Cancellations

If the order for a LoftsAtDuke product is cancelled prior to August 17th, then LoftsAtDuke.com will retain the $100 non-refundable deposit and refund the remaning credit on the order within 45 days.

Extraneous Charges

LoftsAtDuke is NOT a moving service. If a customer purchases the installation package, then our employees will install one (1) loft and place the mattress and bed frame in the appropriate place on the bed. Customers should have open space enough to accommodate the loft when LoftsAtDuke representatives arrive to install. Should LoftsAtDuke representatives have to move room furniture or large objects (excluding one (1) university bed frame and one (1) mattress per loft installation), the customer will be billed a one-time extra charge of $65.00 USD for moving charges. This fee is non-disputable and judgment of extraneous moving is solely the opinion of LoftsAtDuke representatives on a case-by-case basis.
